Tampa Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Crash

TAMPA - A 21-year-old motorcyclist from Tampa is in critical condition after a crash Tuesday at Gunn Highway and Henderson Road.

At 12:16 a.m., Travis Leskey was riding a 2006 Kawasaki east on Gunn when a 2005 Hyundai driven by Linda Mattioli Rodriguez turned in front of him, Hillsborough County deputies say.

The motorcycle's right side was struck. Leskey, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, according to a sheriff's office news release.
