Hometown heroes: The Bellamy Brothers Spring Pirate Invasion Benefit Concert will be held at 7 p.m. at Pasco High School's W.F. Edwards Stadium, on Stadium Drive, off State Road 52 in Dade City. Tickets are $10 for general bleacher seating and $20 for reserved bleacher seating in the center of the stadium. Howard and David Bellamy, known as The Bellamy Brothers, are from nearby Darby and are graduates of PHS (classes of 1964 and 1968, respectively). Go for a sunset DIP: The Salt Springs Alliance Organization will hold a Sunset Kayak DIP - "Designated Interpretive Paddle" - at 6 p.m. at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park, 9120 Old Post Road, Port Richey. Preserving Paradise: The Uptown Artist Gallery, 14449 Seventh St., Dade City will hold an exhibition featuring the works of Keith Johns. Called "Preserving Paradise," the exhibition will be open to the public Tuesday. It will run through April 30 and include local artists, both traditional and nontraditional. Hours are: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Artists and friends of the gallery are encouraged to join. Hunt for an egg: The Shops At Wiregrass again has partnered with the Victorious Life Church to host the annual Community Easter Egg Hunt 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 23.
The community egg hunts will be held every hour on the hour, starting at 11 a.m. The hunts will be arranged by age groups starting from infants, toddler, as well as for children up to age 12.
There also will be a coloring area sponsored by the Victorious Life Church, skits, and storytelling throughout the day.
