The singing cop: Daniel Rodriguez, the New York "singing cop," will perform at The Groves Golf and County Club in Land O' Lakes at 7:30 p.m. Performing with Rodriguez will be his wife, New Zealand soprano Marla Kavanaugh, and New York jazz pianist Jesse Lynch. Life on the farm: The Farm Festival and 21st annual Quilt Show will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pioneer Florida Museum and Village, a mile north of Dade City off U.S. 301 on Pioneer Museum Road.
Included in the event will be a Southern draft horse pulling competition at 10 a.m. Saturday. Both days will include cane grinding and syrup making, an arts and crafts show, traditional craft demonstrations, children's activities and live entertainment. The quilt show will feature the Hoffman Challenge traveling quilt collection, along with dolls, quilts and a clothing fashion show.
Local quilters will have their works on display, and there will be a quilt appraisal and trunk show. Quilts and supplies will be for sale. Admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Parking is free.

Guitar groove: The New Port Richey Library, 5939 Main St., is presenting a free concert by Gabriel Ayala at 7 p.m. Ayala performs classical, tango, flamenco and jazz guitar compositions.
A member of the Yaqui people of southern Arizona, Ayala is among a new generation of Native Americans making a career performing classical music.
Taste some chili: KB Home is sponsoring a chili cook-off from noon to 3 p.m. at Brookfield Estates in Wesley Chapel, off State Road 54, west of Eiland Boulevard. In addition to chili judging, there will be a carnival, face painting, caricature artists, a stilt walker and more. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Cruise the city: The Dade City Cruise-In will be from 3 to 8 p.m. around the historic Pasco County Courthouse on Meridian Avenue and Seventh Street in downtown Dade City. The cruise-in will feature vintage and classic cars, along with a disc jockey. There will be vendors and food.

Fashion on parade: Tickets are available for the upcoming fashion show and luncheon garden party to be hosted by the Ladies Oriental Shrine of Zephyrhills from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cooper Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 38635 Fifth Ave., on 10th Street behind the church. Fundraising dinner: The Zephyrhills Amvets Post 550, 46454 Airport Road, will hold a fundraising dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. The menu will include grilled chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, and garlic bread. The cost is $6. Proceeds from the dinner will go to the post's building fund.
Model train show: Regal Railways will present a train show and swap meet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 5850 K of C Drive, Port Richey. The fresh market will have more than 50 vendors featuring local, certified organic, hydroponics and conventional produce; Florida-grown plants; herbs and flowers; organic garden food; and supplies. Moonlight and Ivory: The 13th annual Moonlight and Ivory concert will be at the historic Dade City Woman's Club on Palm Avenue. The show highlights talented members of the communities of Dade City, Zephyrhills and Wesley Chapel. Included will be vocal and instrumental performances that include Broadway, jazz, classical, contemporary, sacred and bluegrass numbers.
The event includes an art show displaying the works of local artists. Refreshments will be served by Celebrate Catering at intermission.
A matinee performance will be at 2 p.m. with tickets available for $15. Doors for the evening performance will open at 7 p.m. for the art show, with the concert starting at 7:30 p.m. The cost for the evening performance is $25.
