1:36 p.m. Interest in the presidential election, and Florida in particular, goes far beyond the United States.

BBC radio just called the Tribune's Plant City office to ask how the election is going and whether there have been any problems with voting so far.

Seems everyone remembers the 2000 Florida election debacle.

The BBC presenter said there is a huge amount of interest in the election in Great Britain. Some folks are even having election night parties.
