Tim Tebow will be in Tampa on March 10, but to see the quarterback who brought Tebowing to the NFL you'll have to be a member of his new fitness training facility.
Tebow, who led the Denver Broncos to the AFC playoffs last season, will host a training event at D1 Tampa in Citrus Park.
During the event, D1 members will get a chance to train alongside Tebow, who won the Heisman Trophy and two national titles while playing for the Florida Gators.
The 18,000-square-foot facility opened Jan. 2 and features a turf field, weight room and in-house sports therapy clinic with Westchase Sports Medicine Orthopedics.
Tebow co-owns the business with former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks, Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones and professional wrestler Chris Jericho.
The four have been taking part in promotional appearances at the facility. On Jan. 21, Jones and Brooks hosted a members-only D1 Experience event, and Jericho worked out with members and fans Jan. 28.
D1 Tampa is at 6918 Gunn Highway. For information, call (813) 358-7671 or go to D1SportsTraining.com.
