TAMPA - Betty Chandler Trent, the former director of the Brooksville Housing Authority, was sentenced today to two years in prison for theft of public and government money, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida reported.
Trent, 64, was convicted by a federal jury on June 15 on charges of conspiracy, theft concerning programs receiving federal funding, false claims and theft of public money.
