A suicide bomber who infiltrated a CIA base in eastern Afghanistan killed eight Americans on Wednesday in one of the deadliest attacks on U.S. intelligence operations ever. Also, four Canadian troops and a female reporter imbedded with their unit were killed when their vehicle hit a bomb during an afternoon patrol in the south of the country.
