If you think your little one has the cutest little baby face, you may have Tampa Bay's Next Superstar Baby.
To find out, you'll need to head to the Everything For The Baby Smart Baby Expo on Sunday at Tampa's Quorum Hotel. The event will feature about 30 vendors and giveaways, including free massages from All About M.E. Mobile Spa Parties and free prenatal screenings from Total Health Chiropractic. Dads can attend a Daddy Diaper Change Clinic, and moms-to-be can enter the Biggest Beautiful Belly contest.
If you already have a little charmer, age 7 to 24 months, bring him or her along between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a 10-minute session with child photographer Jessica Dana. She'll upload the portraits to www.jessicadana studiosblog.com, where the public can vote for the Next Superstar Baby.
The winner's prize package includes being featured in expo promotional materials for a year.
"I will also include a separate photo session for the winner and help create comp cards that can be used to submit to modeling agents," Dana says.
Can't make it to the expo? Dana offers these photography tips for parents:
•Let kids hang on to something they love, such as a blanket.
•Get close but don't be intrusive.
•Don't try to make children pose.
•Allow them to play.
•Be a spectator.
