As the new Tampa Museum of Art treated early risers to a spectacular light show Friday morning, other Bay area museums were preparing to shed a little light of their own. As part of Smithsonian Magazine's annual Museum Day, the cultural institutions are offering free admission today to encourage residents to dive into the arts.
