TAMPA - Vice President Dick Cheney will be at MacDill Air Force Base today to speak to members of Central Command, Special Operations Command and 6th Air Mobility Wing headquartered here.
His audience at the base theater can expect to hear comments similar to those made by President Bush on Thursday night in a televised address to the nation. Bush said there would be a limited withdrawal of troops from Iraq by next summer.
Cheney's speech will come after a meeting this morning with soldiers in Grand Rapids, Mich.
After Cheney speaks in Tampa, he will receive a classified briefing before departing MacDill, according to his media office.
