BROOKSVILLE - The enrollment period for Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage prescription drug plans has begun and U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite will host a workshop this Friday, Nov. 30, to school seniors on the programs and help them sign up.
The workshop will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Oak Hill Hospital Enrichment Center, 11375 Cortez Blvd.
Representatives from the local chapter of Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders, or SHINE, will be on hand to help seniors pick a plan that's right for them.
