Two women were arrested this morning after robbing a man they had just propositioned for sex, authorities said.
Charged with attempted robbery were Laverne Seltzr, 42, of 610 E. 33rd Drive and Lashebra Richards, 35, of 353 E. 34th Ave., both of Bradenton.
According to Manatee County deputies, the two women knocked on the door of Casimiro Ramirez-Casiano, who lives on the 1000 block of East 33rd Avenue, just after 2 a.m. walked in uninvited and propositioned him for sex.
Deputies said they followed him into another room and that Ramirez-Casiano felt sorry for them and gave them some quarters.
The women became upset, deputies said, and demanded he give them money from his wallet, and he refused.
They jumped him and tried to yank the wallet from his back pocket when another man in the home called 911, deputies said. The women left but were spotted nearby and arrested. The stolen property, including the wallet and some CDs, were returned, authorities said.
