SEMINOLE A masked armed man robbed employees of a Big Lots store last night, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
According to Pinellas County sheriff's deputies, a man entered the Big Lots at 7600 Starkey Rd. just before 9:30 p.m. armed with a handgun. He demanded the night's receipts and told the four on-duty employees to lie on the floor. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled through the back door.
No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as in his late 20s with a stocky build. He wore baggy clothes, a baseball cap and a green bandanna across his face. Witnesses saw a small dark handgun.
