Authorities are looking for two women who were seen bringing four children on a shoplifting trip to a Bealls department store on Route 54 in New Port Richey.

The women were captured on store surveillance cameras as they entered the store, selected a large purse and began taking items from the men's and children's sections and putting them in the purse, according to an investigation report from the Pasco County Sheriff's Department.

The sheriff's department today released the video recordings of the June 17 incident.

According to the investigation report, after filling up the purse, one of the women took it outside the store and unloaded it into a red Dodge Durango in the parking lot. She brought the purse back inside, and both women started putting items into it, the investigation report states.

Then, the other woman left the store with the children and got into the Dodge. She started the engine, and the other woman headed toward the parking lot with the purse. A store security officer tried to stop the second woman, who dropped the merchandise she was carrying and ran to the Dodge, which took off headed for Route 54.

The report gave these descriptions for the women:

The woman who had the purse was white with a a heavy build; about 160 pounds; about 5 feet 6 inches tall; with medium-length, wavy brown hair; and bearing a tattoo on her left breast. She was wearing a black tank top and black capri pants.
