One man was shot and another was robbed while they were walking home from a Bradenton bar early this morning, authorities said.
The two men and a third were walking home from Santa Fe Bar about 3:35 a.m. when they were approached by two men in the 4900 block of 9th St. E., according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
One of the two men pulled out a black revolver and pointed it at the three, one of whom started to run. He was shot in the lower back.
The two suspects then took a wallet from one man and ripped a gold chain from his neck before fleeing in a small, light blue 2-door car south to 53rd Ave. and then went west.
The person shot was flown to Bayfront Medical Center and was reported in stable condition. The suspects - both described as black males, 6-feet tall with long dreadlocks and wearing white tank tops - remained at large this morning.
