TAMPA - All lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway are back open after a serious crash Sunday night closed them.
According to Pinellas County Fire Rescue, at least two vehicles in the eastbound lane were involved in the crash about 11:20 p.m. One person was trapped in a vehicle and had to be extricated by fire rescue crews.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed until morning.
At least two trauma alerts were called in, dispatchers said. Conditions of the victims were not immediately available.
Details of the wreck were not available late Sunday night.
