Both of the lanes leading from the Pinellas Bayway to northbound Interstate 275 have been reopened, two days after a wreck caused the ramp to be closed.
One lane opened this morning; the other after 7 p.m.
On Monday, a man driving a cement mixer on the I-275 exit ramp to the Bayway lost control of the truck, and it flipped onto the entrance ramp, creating a hole. The entrance ramp was closed for repairs.
Department of Transportation officials say they hope to recover some or all of the repair costs from the truck driver, the cement company or either or both of their insurance companies.
