A man, possibly armed with a black handgun, robbed a bank this morning, police said.
The suspect robbed the BB&T bank at 100 34th St. N. at about 9:30 a.m., said St. Petersburg police spokesman Bill Proffitt.
No one was injured. The suspect was last seen running down an alley.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, about 5-feet-8-inches to 6-feet tall, and of a medium build. He was last seen wearing a beige hat, and a bandana around his face. He was also seen getting into an older model Jeep.
