A young Avon Park woman spent Christmas Eve in jail for a few hours after being arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in the cheek with a plastic comb.
Alonia Kieterria Hawk, 18, of 211 Williams Gray Court, Avon Park, was charged with second-degree aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. She was released Dec. 24, just one day before her 18th birthday.
That Christmas Eve afternoon, Hawk and the victim were arguing about his mother when she took the comb and stabbed him through the cheek, striking his tongue, according to the arrest report.
