A 60-year-old man riding a bicycle in the 2700 block of Fowler Avenue today was struck by a car, police spokesman Jim Contento said.
The man's injuries seemed minor but he was airlifted to a hospital due to his age, Contento said. The man's status isn't immediately known.
The call initially was reported to law enforcement as a hit-and-run, but that did not prove to be the case.
