Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives have identified the man found in a submerged car in a canal behind a condominium complex July 10.
Juan Salgado, 64, lived in the Gulf Island Beach and Tennis Resort complex, detectives said. The parking lot is adjacent to the canal where his car was spotted by another resident.
Salgado had likely been in the water for several days, sheriff's office spokesman Kevin Doll said last week. Investigators are awaiting toxicology results, but they do not suspect foul play, Doll said.
