BEST CUBAN? What does Playboy know?

Playboy, better known for cheesecake than beefsteak, has announced its list of best sandwiches in the nation, and South Tampa's Hugo's eatery received a mention for its Cuban sandwich.

Our resident Cuban sandwich expert, columnist Steve Otto, has his own opinion. He has sampled Cubans from Sebring to Hernando Beach to Brandon, St. Pete and Clearwater, not to mention neighborhoods from West Tampa to Carrollwood, all in search of the perfect sandwich. Here are his top three, based on personal experience and recommendations from readers:
