No charges will be filed against a motorist who struck a man in a wheelchair crossing North Dale Mabry Highway on Friday night.
Anthony J. Brown, 54, of no known address, was wearing dark clothing and trying to travel across three lanes of traffic near West Beach Street when he was hit, police said.
The driver, whose name was not available today, remained at the scene and was found not at fault.
Brown was transported to a local hospital. His condition was unavailable.
