Brooksville police arrested three men early this morning, accusing them of trying to sell a confidential informant a half-pound of marijuana.
Charged with sale and possession of marijuana were Johnnie "Stumpy" Thompson Jr., 28, Rian Rajion Williams, 21, and Willie Bryant, 26.
Police said they had arranged to buy the pot in the area of Candlelight Boulevard and Erin Way around 1 a.m. today. Once the transaction occurred, the defendants were arrested without incident, police said.
The half-pound of marijuana was seized, along with more than $5,000. Police also seized two vehicles, including a Mercedes Benz.
