A 47-year-old Lithia man conspired with another person to buy 30 pounds of marijuana for $19,500 on Monday, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested William Wesley Allen at 5:20 p.m. Monday.
He was charged with trafficking in marijuana and conspiracy to traffic in marijuana.
Wesley and another person met undercover deputies at 1505 N. Dale Mabry Highway on Monday, an arrest report states. Allen handed investigators the money and began unloading marijuana from an undercover vehicle.
Allen later told investigators he was going to profit $4,000 for brokering a deal, according to the arrest report.
Allen remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail has not been set. Details on the other person were not immediately available.
