Police are still searching for a man they say raped a woman in her Interbay home Tuesday morning.
The assault happened near Lois Avenue in South Tampa about 11 a.m., Tampa police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said.
The man entered the 25-year-old woman's home through an unlocked door and was waiting for her in the bathroom as she got out of the shower, Davis said. She noticed him standing behind her in the mirror before he grabbed her and raped her, police said.
The man is described as black, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, in his late 20s to early 30s, 180 to 200 pounds. He has short hair with a very tight curl, a goatee and a gold tooth in front.
The suspect was last seen wearing a plain black T-shirt and blue jeans and smelled of gasoline.
A police sketch of the suspect has been released.
