Investigators are trying to determine whether three fires, including two this morning, are connected.
Within an hour's time, fires were discovered at the Isles of Gateway condominium complex at 10600 Fourth St. N. and at the nearby Gateway mobile home park, at 10100 Gandy Blvd., said Lt. Joel Granata of St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue.
A maintenance shed at the mobile home park was discovered on fire at 3:11 a.m. today, while floorboards above a set of stairs at the condominium complex were reported on fire at 3:27 a.m., Granata said.
On Sunday night, a column was reported on fire at another building at the condominium complex, he said.
"We're trying to see if there's a connection," Granata said. "All three are suspicious."
