Deputies responded Thursday to 7383 Botanical Drive after receiving a call about a verbal disturbance.
A deputy encountered Kevin Squair, 24, who forcefully opened his front door and began yelling obscenities, according to an arrest report.
Squair, who had a noticeably swollen lip, refused to answer questions and told the deputy to get off his property, the reported showed.
Squair clenched his fists and tensed his arms while following closely behind the deputy as he walked away, authorities said.
The deputy grabbed his arm and Squair began pushing and pulling away using his body weight, according to the report.
He was taken down and he still continued to struggle, deputies said.
He was handcuffed and arrested after a second deputy arrived and assisted in bringing Squair to the patrol car, according to the sheriff's office.
Squair's female friend said he was attacked by a group of men outside Lollipops, a gentleman's club in Hudson, and he was still angry about it. That was where he got the swollen lip, she told deputies.
Squair was arrested for resisting law enforcement with violence.
During his ride to the jail, he thrashed around in the backseat of the patrol vehicle, hit the door with his body and the partition with his head, deputies said.
His bond was set at $5,000.
