Narcotics investigators found 149 marijuana plants in a shed behind a Clearwater house on Tuesday, authorities said.
John Haring, 45, who lives in the house at 1949 Byram Drive, was charged with cultivation of marijuana.
Narcotics detectives recently received a tip that marijuana was being grown at the address and contacted Haring, who let them on his property rather than demand they get a search warrant, said Elizabeth Watts, Clearwater's public safety spokeswoman. The plants were discovered in a large utility shed in the back yard.
In October 2007, Haring was arrested at that address and charged with the same crime.
