A man who is on probation and removed his ankle bracelet was arrested Monday in Plant City, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
Manuel Lopez, of Mulberry, removed the ankle bracelet on Thursday, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. He is under house arrest for the aggravated stalking of a 14-year-old victim.
Lopez, 42, was taken into custody at around 4 p.m. Monday at a Domino's Pizza in Plant City, the sheriff's office said. The Plant City Police had received a tip that he was at the restaurant.
Family members were worried that he was traveling with his father, Raymond Lopez, 73. But Raymond Lopez is safe and had traveled to Nashville to visit friends, the sheriff's office said.
