A motorcyclist died Monday afternoon after a crash with a pickup truck, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Mark Graves, 43, of Tampa, died at the scene of the 4:30 p.m. accident at Busch Boulevard just west of North Arrawana Avenue, FHP said.
Graves was riding his 2010 Harley-Davidson heading west on Busch Boulevard. He was in the inside lane just west of Arrawana Avenue, FHP said.
Meanwhile, George Gunter, 74, of Tampa, was driving his 2006 Ford pickup heading east on Busch Boulevard. Gunter made a left turn, but failed to yield to the right of way to Graves, FHP said.
Graves hit the brakes, but still crashed into the passenger side of Gunter's pickup. Graves died at the scene of the accident. Gunter was uninjured, FHP said.
The case remains under investigation. Charges are pending, FHP said.
