Deputies: $1 million in marijuana found in Tampa grow house

Hillsborough County deputies say they took down a grow house Wednesday with $1 million in marijuana inside.

About 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were given consent to search a home at 8408 Lava Place in Tampa. They say they found 35 fully grown marijuana plants being cultivated in two rooms of the home. The plants weighed about 300 pounds combined, deputies say.

Deputies arrested three men: Mario Galdo-Garcia, 32; Raidel Galdo-Garcia, 31; Fabian Castillo, 32. Charges against each man include trafficking in marijuana and cultivation of marijuana. The men remain in jail; no bail has been set.
