Teen known for hiccups found safe

Jennifer Mee, known in 2007 for her chronic case of the hiccups, has been found safe, St. Petersburg police report.

Police say Mee, 18, left her home on 22nd Avenue North at about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7 and was last seen walking south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street.

At the time, Mee was wearing dark Capri jeans, a black hooded sweater and purple flip-flops.

In June 2007, the teen was reported missing by her mother after she told siblings she wanted to run away. Mee was found about 15 hours later at a St. Petersburg park.
