A motorcyclist and a pedestrian died in an accident that occurred Friday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Randell Allen Toombs, of Largo, died after he crashed into a pedestrian at around 7 p.m. on Starkey Road.
Toombs, 28, was on a Honda motorcycle traveling northbound on Starkey Road. Lowell Schissel, 76, of Largo, was walking east across the northbound lanes of Starkey Road, FHP said.
Toombs struck Schissel, who died. Toombs died at Bayfront Medical Center on Friday, FHP said.
The crash remains under investigation, FHP said.
