Pasco sheriff's detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a 39-year-old man early this morning in the Dade City area.
About 1:30 a.m. today, deputies received a call about a shooting and discovered Armando Uribe Jr. lying in the street with an apparent gunshot wound.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The case has been ruled a homicide.
Uribe, whose last known address was 32623 St. Joe Road, was released Sunday from the Land O' Lakes Jail after serving a 10-day sentence on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license, records show.
He has also been arrested three other times in Pasco and charged with drug possession, failing to appear in court and domestic battery.
No information on possible suspects has been released in the homicide.
