A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was injured this morning in a crash on Interstate 275 near Busch Boulevard.
About 8:30 a.m., Trooper Daniel Villano was stopped in the outside lane of I-275 because of stopped traffic ahead when a Ford van rear-ended his vehicle, the patrol said.
Villano was taken to University Community Hospital with minor injuries.
The Ford's driver didn't complain of injuries and wasn't taken to a hospital, Sgt. Larry Kraus said.
