A woman withdrawing money at an automatic teller machine felt something in her back and heard an order to give up her cash.
The 45-year-old victim turned and saw the female robber was pressing a cell phone, not a gun, against her. She decided to resist.
The victim confronted the woman and they struggled. The robber grabbed the victim's money. The victim ripped the suspect's shirt off and tried to drag her into the Bank of America, 3439 W. Hillsborough Ave.
The robber ran from the scene, wearing a red bra.
Police are asking the public's help in catching her.
The suspect is described as black or Hispanic, about 5-foot-6 and age 18 to 21. She was wearing large sunglasses with metallic circles on the sides, and a boat-neck pink or white shirt with writing on the front.
In surveillance video a few minutes before Monday's robbery, the suspect can be seen waiting behind a man using the ATM. She then walks up to the machine but doesn't appear to use it. She leaves, only to return when the victim is using the machine.
