TAMPA --

A Newsome High School teacher is free on $500 bail after being accused of drunk driving, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Patricia Rene Thompson, 49, of Valrico was arrested at 11:32 a.m. Friday at Causeway Boulevard and 78th Street after deputies responded to a crash, according to a report.
