A St. Petersburg man faces a second-degree murder charge in the stabbing death of a 22-year-old man, deputies said.
Roberto Valle, of 6418 Haines Road, Lot 4, was arrested this morning at Kenvin's Motel, 6801 Haines Road.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, witnesses saw Valle fighting with Donald Nemeth inside Nemeth's vehicle in a parking lot at 2766 62nd Ave. N. just before 6 p.m.
Valle, 41, ran after the fight.
Nemeth drove to 2749 58th Ave. N., got out of his vehicle and collapsed, bleeding. Witnesses called 911.
According to an arrest report, Nemeth told witnesses Valle had stabbed him. Investigators said Valle's knife was found in Nemeth's vehicle.
Nemeth, of 1265 Mortola Drive, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Valle was being held at the Pinellas County Jail.
