A Tampa man was arrested this morning on one count of felony child neglect after deputies stopped him while driving a motorcycle with his 3-year-old son in his lap.
Shortly before 10 a.m., a Hillsborough County sheriff's deputy spotted Jose Nelson Diana, 33, riding a motorcycle south on Central Avenue, near 114th Avenue, going between 20 and 30 mph, according to an arrest report. Diana's son was in his lap unrestrained, the report states.
Diana, of 146 145th Ave., was released from jail after posting $7,500 bail.
