A woman was raped repeatedly by two men at gunpoint for 16 hours while being driven around Manatee and Sarasota counties, Manatee deputies say.
According to a news release from the Manatee sheriff's office, the woman said she was walking on 14th Street West at about 4 p.m. Tuesday when two men in a white four-door Honda pulled up and the driver called her over. She walked up to the window, and a second man wearing a ski mask got out of the car and forced her into it.
For the next 16 hours, according to the sheriffs' office, the two men took turns raping the woman in the back seat while the other drove around the area. Both men had handguns and pointed them at the victim.
The woman was dropped off at the Desoto Square Mall parking lot this morning. She walked to a restaurant and called 911.
Both attackers were described as black men in their 20s.
The first man is thin, with light skin and no facial hair or glasses. He has lines shaved in his eyebrow. He was wearing a blue hoodie and a black ski mask.
The second man is under 6 feet tall, with dark skin. He was wearing a yellow shirt and shorts.
