Two men sought in armed robberies in Lakeland

Lakeland police are seeking two suspects wanted in armed robberies, and warns that they are armed and dangerous.

Christopher Luis Morales, 18, and Bill Curtis Cox, 35, are wanted in connection with an armed robbery Monday at the Hess Express, 3117 S. Florida Ave.

Cox is also wanted for an armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm in incidents that occurred Jan. 30 at a Subway, 125 N Wabash Ave., and at a Walmart, 3501 S. Florida Ave.

Both men are also suspects of crimes in other jurisdictions.

Cox is a white male, 5-foot-9 and weighs 170 pounds. He has a tattoo reading "Jennifer" on the left side of his neck.

Morales is a white male, 6-foot-1 and weighs 180 pounds.

They are believed to be driving a stolen 1993 green Toyota Camry with a Florida tag 5431JU or a red Ford Mustang with damage to the front left side of the car.

Anyone with information on the men is asked to call Crime Stoppers, (800) 226-8477.
