Ex-Ruth's Chris Steak House CEO Craig Miller is dropping out of the U.S. Senate race and will run for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Miller announced his plans Monday. He entered the Senate race in July but failed to gain traction in a crowded GOP field that includes U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, former U.S. Sen. George LeMieux, former state Rep. Adam Hasner and retired Army Col. Mike McCalister.
Miller also ran for Congress in 2010, coming in third in the Republican primary for the seat now held by Rep. Sandy Adams. He will move from Winter Park to Ormond Beach and seek a seat in a new district that has not received final approval.
