A Brandon man rapidly accelerated his motorcycle toward a concrete wall and was unable to stop, driving through it but dying from his injuries, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Adel M. Odeh, 20, was on his 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-64 about 11:45 p.m. Sunday, driving north through the parking lot of the Acropolis Bar & Grill, 14947 Bruce B Downs Blvd. As Odeh neared the end of the parking lot, he sped up, driving to a concrete block wall at the lot's north end, a sheriff's office news release states.
He wasn't wearing a helmet when he crashed, according to the release.
