The Temple Terrace Fire Department and Tampa Fire Rescue worked a fire at a shopping center tonight that destroyed two businesses, officials said.
At around 9:40 p.m., firefighters responded to the scene at the Temple Terrace Shoppes, located at 56th Street just north of Busch Boulevard.
The fire completely damaged a Supercuts, 9267 N. 56th St., and Liberty Income Tax, 9271 N. 56th St.
Both stores were closed and unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. No other businesses in the strip mall were damaged, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
