Tests To Interrupt Reclaimed Water In N.W. Hillsborough

Reclaimed water service in part of northwest Hillsborough County will be interrupted for about a week while tests are run at the reclaimed water plant.

The service interruption started at 7:30 a.m. today and will last until 7:30 a.m. next Friday. It will affect residential and commercial reclaimed water customers in Westchase, Eagles, Westchester, Mandolin and Westwood Lakes, as well as parts of Citrus Park and Upper Tampa Bay.

During the interruption, property owners should not put in new plantings or use fertilizers, pesticides or lawn treatments, which require watering after the application.
