As a heart attack survivor and the mother of a second-grader, I want my son to be able to live a long, strong life. Last week, Governor Crist signed Senate Bill 610, mandating PE for grades six through eight. It also adds to the Elementary School PE bill by mandating the 30 minutes a day is consecutive and that any elementary schools, including grade six, meet the daily requirement.
