As a tax-paying customer, I have a hard time with all the palm trees that are planted at every intersection around the state.
The latest one is on State Road 54 at the Suncoast Parkway. Another 100 trees and a truck load of two-by-fours to prop them up.
With the state cutting funds for education and other important items, are palm trees that important? I would like to see some figures on what has been spent on trees and two-by-fours.
That palm tree salesman is very good. He knows someone in high places.
