Terrorist trials
Isn't it fitting that as soon as our president jets off to Asia, Attorney General Eric Holder informs us that we will be bringing the 9-11 mastermind and four of his fellow terrorists to our soil for a civil trial? They will be given the right afforded to American citizens to a fair trial by their peers. Are there any of their peers here to sit on their jury?
These people are not warriors fighting under their nation's flag. They are terrorists intent on killing as many of us as they can. They were caught on the battlefield trying to kill Americans.
Now they'll be allowed to humiliate us in court (which will be a daily circus) and could ultimately be found innocent if their "peers" are not sufficiently convinced of their guilt.
It is a travesty and endangers Americans simply by their being here.
Bad idea, Mr. President. I can understand why you thought it might be a good time to skip town for a few days.
