Divorce needed
Most everyone agrees that for America to regain its competitive advantage, health care costs must come down. As long as health care is tied to employment, that will not happen.
Companies accept premium increases as a cost of doing business and pass it along. Individuals would never accept double-digit premium increases without shopping around for a better deal or altering their coverage.
If we want to get costs under control, we must divorce our health care from our employment.

What about teeth?
I am concerned about the lack of coverage for dental work in most insurance plans.
Good dental health and treatment are very serious and related to heart health and other diseases that are being neglected. This needs to be addressed.
